AC14 Hands-on Mission Project

Stop Hunger Now is an international hunger relief organization with a mission to end hunger in our lifetime by sending food and life saving aid to sustainable long-term partners in developing countries. The meals are often placed into school feeding programs to provide an incentive for children to start attending and stay enrolled in school and also provide the necessary nutrition for physical and intellectual growth.

North Alabama Annual Conference volunteers will package 50,000 meals on June 3, 2014, at the Striplin Center on Birmingham-Southern’s campus, in three shifts starting at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The meals are packaged in a simple and inclusive assembly line process that is both fun and fast paced.

If you are a member of the Annual Conference, please visit this great project during one of our breaks.
