Exit 456, an overnight retreat for 4th, 5th and 6th graders, will be March 17-18, 2017, at Sumatanga.
This annual retreat sponsored by the North Alabama Conference is designed to aid local churches in their ministry to tweens. It can serve as a retreat for a confirmation class or simply as a tween retreat. The event features dynamic speakers, worship experiences and games. The worship and teaching times are designed so that 4th-6th graders can attend for three years and enjoy a new, exciting experience each year.
The 2017 theme is “More” based on the scripture “He must increase and I must decrease.” (John 3:30, CEB). The Exit 456 planning team is organizing the event around the following: Have you done something you wish you could change? You can't go back but you can start over. During Exit 456 we will learn more. Such as how no matter where we are at on our journey we can all Do More, Serve More, Share More, Love More, Give More.
