Part-Time Audio-Visual Intern


Asbury United Methodist Church - Birmingham is searching for a Part-Time Audio-Visual Intern to serve its Contemporary Worship Service, The Bridge. The person in this role will provide high-quality audio-visual for the Bridge worship service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities to be performed as assigned by the Associate Pastor and/or Contemporary/Youth Worship Leader: 1. Provide professional quality audio-visual for the Bridge worship service.   2. Train volunteers to assist running the audio-visual for the Bridge service. 3. Assist with Pro-Presenter input for weekly worship services. 4. Report any equipment failures and needed repairs to Contemporary/Youth Worship Leader. 5. Provide 10 hours per week of work divided as follows: Thursday band practice: 6:00-8:30 pm (2.5 hrs) Sunday morning: 7:30-12:30 (5 hrs) Flex time to help with Pro-Presenter (2 hrs) 6. All other duties as assigned. The person who fills this role is expected to maintain a positive attitude toward members of the congregation, visitors, and fellow staff members, work to immediately resolve conflicts, and inform the Associate Pastor, Contemporary/Youth Worship Leader and/or Executive Pastor if efforts at resolution are not successful or if conflict begins to affect personal attitude.
