After School Care Provider – GraceKids Child Development Center at Grace, a United Methodist Congregation About GraceKids CDC: GraceKids Child Development Center welcomes children for after school care in kindergarten through 5th grade in a caring Christian environment. At GraceKids, we embrace a faith-based environment where children are able to play, develop friendships in a safe and nurturing environment. We believe a child presents a “once in a lifetime” opportunity to help children form foundations that will serve them well as they grow. Our teachers use enrichments and play-based learning to facilitate growth socially, emotionally, spiritually, intellectually and academically. We are a screen free environment and promote outside activities. GraceKids is located in Grace, a United Methodist Congregation. Using a curriculum provided by the center, this person will develop and implement lesson plans which will provide structure and play for after-school program. This person will ride/drive a church van to pick up children from Liberty Park Elementary School and bring them to the church. This person has access to an acre of play space, creative art materials, and much more. This person must have a positive attitude, a love for helping children learn, and a desire to provide excellence in care and education. Experience preferred. Preference will be given to persons holding a degree in education / child development or related field.
