Administrative Assistant in Communications


Passport, Inc. Administrative Assistant in Communications PASSPORT, a non-profit Christian ministry, is seeking an Administrative Assistant in Communications. This person is a team player with strong phone skills and the organizational ability to maintain a complex project board. The ideal candidate for this job is detail-oriented and self-motivated. Job responsibilities are as follows: A. Coordinate work flow between the Communications team and other office teams, facilitate daily check-in meetings and other regular team meetings, track team progress and accomplishments, and create reports. B. Assist the Vice President as it pertains to calendaring and organizational tasks; administrate travel arrangements and related expense reports. C. Coordinate correspondence as it relates to advertising and marketing, add deadlines, and marketing purchases; review advertising budget quarterly. D. Oversee inquiries and correspondence related to Watering Malawi and minor oversite of the Watering Malawi website. E. Other Tasks as Assigned Position requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, Adobe Suite • Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency • Detail oriented • Exceptional proofreading & editing skills • Proficient on Macintosh computer systems • Superior organizational skills • Enjoys answering phones and directing calls Helpful but not required: minor website editing experience Compensation Package: $12-16/hour commensurate with experience, plus 100% employer-paid health insurance, paid vacation time, paid holidays including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day, and paid sick leave.
