Church Business Administrator

Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church is looking for a caring, ministry-oriented person with proven administrative, program management, financial supervisory, and organizational skills to serve as the Church Business Administrator.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Sr. Pastor and be a valued member of the church leadership team. The church is in search of a candidate that possesses enthusiasm for providing positive and service-oriented leadership to staff, lay leaders, ministries, and committees of the church, in order to promote and implement the vision and missions of Glenn Memorial UMC, a member of the Reconciling Ministries Network.

Five years of experience in business administration with supervisory and budgetary responsibilities is required. Other desirable qualifications include the following:

  • a master’s degree in business administration and/or experience as a church business administrator;
  • administration in a church or non-profit setting;
  • financial reporting and analysis; experience with facility management;
  • human resources administration; and
  • oversight of management information systems.

Salary is deemed competitive in the church/non-profit market, is commensurate with qualifications and experience, and carries benefits.
