Financial Services Assistant and Office Manager


The North Alabama Conference Treasurer’s Office is seeking a full-time financial services assistant and office manager. Primary responsibilities include financial services support and general office administration; including cash receipts processing, monthly reports, preparation for meetings and Annual Conference, local church support, periodic mailings, filing, and reception. The position works closely with the Conference Controller and the district offices.
Applicants should be experienced in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.  Knowledge of Shelby Systems and the United Methodist Church, and professional training or a college degree is desirable. The successful candidate must be personable, energetic, dependable, and a self-starter, with a desire to serve others in a ministry setting.
Compensation will be based on experience and includes excellent benefits.  The Treasurer’s Office would like the successful candidate to begin immediately, but no later than Wednesday, April 4, 2018.
