The Southeast District is one of the eight districts of the North Alabama Conference of the United Methodist Church. The District covers partially or entirely the geographical areas of six counties in north Alabama: Clay, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Coosa, Randolph, and Chambers. The District administrative office is in Alexander City and is the hub of the District administrative endeavors. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary requirements to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

The District Administrative Assistant is a part-time 30 hour-a-week position. The Assistant works in harmony with the District Superintendent in executing the purpose, core values, vision, and strategy of the district. The Administrative Assistant is the primary support person for the District and will work alongside the Superintendent, clergy, and laity to carry out the mission and vision of the district ministry. This includes attending assigned district committee meetings, organizing the administrative protocols, policies and procedures of the office, coordinating district and conference relationships, and district leadership trainings.
