Rev. Henry Golson

Rev. Henry Golson died on April 25, 2022. He was a retired elder.

The arrangements are as follows:

• There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 30 at 11 a.m. at Southside United Methodist Church.
   
• Visitation will precede the service at 10 a.m.

Rev. Golson was ordained elder in 1965. He began serving appointments in North Alabama in 1963 including Chaplain of Birmingham-Southern College, Tuscaloosa First (Associate), Oxford First, Montevallo First, Conference Director of Council on Ministries, Avondale, Lester Memorial, Birmingham West District Superintendent and Albertville First. He retired in 2001.
