Retired Local Pastor L.B. “Jake” Mays

Retired Local Pastor L.B. “Jake” Mays died August 5, 2019.

The arrangements are as follows:

• Visitation will be Thursday, August 8 from 12-3 p.m. at Edgemont United Methodist Church
• The funeral will be Thursday, August 8 at 3 p.m. at Edgemont UMC.
• Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

During his 30 years of ministry, he served as pastor of a number of churches in Lauderdale and Colbert Counties including Blythe Memorial, Lakeview Highlands and Mount Bethel UMCs.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Edgemont United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
