Rev. George Benefield

Rev. George Benefield died March 23, 2016. He was a retired Associate Member.

The arrangements are as follows:

• Visitation will be Friday, March 25, at Moss Funeral Home, Cullman from 6 - 8 p.m.
• The Funeral will be Saturday, March 26, at Holly Pond United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. There will be a visitation at the church preceding the service from 10-11 a.m.

During his ministry, Rev. Benefield served Hayden; Nectar; Southside; Joppa; New Hope; Hayden/Bangor; Center Star; Sanderson Chapel; Steele; and Henagar/Flat Rock UMCs. He retired in 2005.

Please remember his wife Martha and their family in your prayers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Rev. Benefield's charity of choice to the Gideon International.
