Rev. Joel Maxwell's father Lowell Lee Maxwell died August 1, 2019. Rev. Maxwell is the pastor of Liberty and Liberty Hill UMCs (Southeast District).

The arrangements are as follows:

• Visitation will be Saturday, August 3, 2019, at 6 p.m. at Radney Smith Funeral Home (320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, AL  35150).
• The Funeral will be Sunday, August 4, 2019, at 3 p.m. at Childersburg First UMC (603 4th Street SW, Childersburg, AL  35044).
