The North Alabama Conference Adult Discipleship Team is excited to offer a pilot version of a fresh, new workshop. This experience is designed to better equip clergy and laity for leading and participating in crucial, but sometimes difficult conversations. Specifically, the goal is to equip followers of Christ for the challenging task of engaging with others in hopeful, respectful and fruitful dialogue around issues and decisions that matter to all of us.
Drawing from their work in seminary and local church settings, Kathleen Bynum Lalor of 4Discipleship Ministries/4D Focus and J. Thomas Laney, Director of the Turner Center for Church Leadership in Middle Tennessee have partnered to shape the workshop using superb resources related to transforming difficult conversations into grace-filled spiritual practice.
This initial pilot experience will help us refine the workshop process for future offerings in the conference. Your participation and feedback will be very much appreciated!
We are currently accepting registrations for up to 20 participants. Once registered, you can expect a brief questionnaire and several short readings to help you prepare for our time together!
