Every North Alabama clergyperson and designated lay member to the 2020 North Alabama Annual Conference is expected to participate in a Pre-General Conference Information Session or a District Fireside Session to learn more about legislation coming before the 2020 General Conference which will meet in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in May.
Bishop Debra Wallace-Padgett, the Conference Leadership Team and the North Alabama General Conference Delegation will lead two information sessions to share details about General Conference proposed legislation, including the protocol. All interested persons are invited to attend.
You are invited to submit questions before and during the Pre-General Conference Information Session. Prior to the session, you may email your questions to gc20questions@umcna.org. Please include your full name and contact information with your question. Some questions will be answered during the Information Session. If your question is not addressed during the session, someone will contact you directly following the event.

Below is the schedule for the District Fireside Sessions for information sharing and Q&A in advance of 2020 General Conference. These are designed for clergy and lay members to Annual Conference only, due to space limitations. There will be at least three District Superintendents participating in each of the Fireside gatherings.
