The North Alabama Conference Historical Society will convene for its fall 2018 gathering at historic St. Paul United Methodist Church in downtown Birmingham on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Nicholas, retired Wood Professor of American History at Birmingham-Southern College, is the author of  Go and Be Reconciled: Alabama Methodists Confront Racial Injustice: 1954-1974.  The book was premiered during the 2018 North Alabama Annual Conference.
