Riverchase UMC’s "Camp Clergy" allows young spiritual leaders to explore their call to pastoral ministry

During the week of July 27-31 2015, Riverchase UMC offered nine high school juniors, seniors and college freshmen discerning a call to pastoral ministry an opportunity to explore that calling further. Talladega First has opened it doors and welcomed the men of Truth Recovery Ministries in such a way that the congregation has been transformed as much, if not more, than the men in recovery. Spruce Pine UMC celebrates new members

Spruce Pine UMC is a growing, small, rural church in the Northwest District near Russellville. The Gathering Place charters as a United Methodist congregation and celebrates continued growth during Holy Week

On Palm Sunday, March 29, 2015, Cheaha District Superintendent Sherill Clontz led a Charge Conference to officially charter The Gathering Place as a United Methodist Church.
