The Nominations Team plays a vital role in the Conference's mission to discover, develop, and deploy spiritual leaders. The Nominations Team does this by identifying members for Conference-level leadership teams, committees and commissions who are then elected by the Annual Conference. This work primarily occurs every four years, with additional work each year to fill vacancies and provide additional support to teams as needed.

The Nominations Team is chaired by the bishop and composed of the appointive cabinet, district lay leaders, additional representatives from each district and other Conference leaders.
