Nearly 8 out of 10 churches in the US are struggling to grow, and most are in serious decline. It doesn’t have to be that way.
On May 16, 2015, 21st Century Strategies’ church growth experts Bill Tenny-Brittian and Bill Easum are coming to Alexander City, Alabama, to lead a one-day conference on the four things that grow churches.
The Only Four Things Grow Churches Conference will be May 16 at The Arbor of Alexander City First UMC from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The event is designed for pastors, church staff and laity. The cost of the conference is $75 per person. The cost is only $65 per person for Church teams of three or more.
Your church team will leave the event with more than just a couple of good ideas, but with a basic strategic plan and some specific tools to help you launch a growth initiative in your congregation.
The four things that grow churches are:
- Inviting people to Christ and to the church … and getting them to show up.
- Connecting with them so they return.
- Discipling them so they experience personal life change.
- Sending them back to their neighborhoods to be community missionaries.
Churches that attend to the four core processes tend to grow at a healthy rate. These processes work in all sized churches.
As a church grows, its leadership must grow too. Those “Glass Ceilings” or “Growth Barriers” aren’t myths … they’re textbook and every growing church hits them. The Conference also covers the three core changes every pastor must make while leading their church to growth.
During the day, participants will develop a strategic plan to help implement the Four Core processes in their church. As a bonus Each participant will receive a $50 gift card to purchase additional training resources.
For over two decades, 21st Century Strategies has been consulting with churches and coaching church leaders to help them break through the barriers that keep churches from reaching their communities and experiencing growth.
