Celebrate Children's Sabbath in your church

Mark your congregation’s worship calendar for your Children’s Sabbath Sunday. The United Methodist Church annually celebrates Children's Sabbath as a special worship service where children are celebrated as intricate members in the life of the church. The children are thought to be essential in reminding us of our pure faith and openness with which we are to come before God. On this special Sabbath let the children lead the congregation in worship in every way. Celebrate the gift of children and remind your congregation that we are to take care of God’s children outside our church walls as well as nurture the children we have in worship.

North Alabama Conference Coordinator of Children's Ministries Rev. Elizabeth Nall presents the following resources and idea for your congregation to celebrate Children's Sabbath.
