Northeast District United Methodist Women place scarecrow at Huntsville Botanical Gardens


The Huntsville Botanical Gardens has a Scarecrow Trail on display from Sept. 1- Oct. 31, 2010. The trail features “hay-filled creatures” created by Huntsville area businesses, schools, clubs, church groups ,non-profits and families.

The 2010 Scarecrow Trail has a Hollywood theme. The Northeast District United Methodist Women placed a scarecrow named “Fiona goes Green” on the trail. Fiona goes Green (Princess Fiona is the princess in the Shrek films) is located in the Central Corridor Garden.

She was created by Pat Lane, Nancy Lane and Teresa Love.

Teresa says, “We pray that our members will Go Green and support United Methodist Women.”
