Latham UMC in Huntsville to launch first Lifetree Cafe' in the state of Alabama.

Latham United Methodist Church will begin a new ministry titled “Lifetree Café” in September.

The idea of Lifetree Café is to create a comfortable place and time for people to gather each week to explore life and faith together. With the look and feel of the kind of place friends regularly meet for food and drink, the atmosphere encourages conversations, questions and personal stories.

Each week people will gather for an hour-long Lifetree Café experience. It will feature real stories of real people, guided conversation, time to build relationships with new and old friends, laughter, fun, spiritual insights, and opportunities to serve.

Designed and franchised by Group Publishing in Denver, Colorado there are currently twenty-three Lifetree Café’s scattered throughout country. The program is designed to welcome and engage people whether they are a part of the church or have no faith background.

High quality videos are produced by Group Publishing and discussions center on the video topics. It is a chance for people to learn and find friendships in a non-threatening atmosphere. For more information visit the web site
