Nominations now open for Wheeler Award for Church History and Archives

March 06, 2014

Each year at Annual Conference, the North Alabama Conference Commission on Archives  presents the Wheeler Award for Church History and Archives. The award was established in 2011 to recognize and thank Glynn and Annie Ford Wheeler for their years of service and accomplishments in the area of Church History. Their work included local church, conference and the jurisdiction.

The Commission on Archives once again, is inviting conference-wide nominations of United Methodist Church members who have been effective in this important work. The award will be presented to a person or persons in our conference who have made outstanding contributions to the preservation and promotion of Church History.

Click here for the nominating form and other information. The annual nomination deadline is April 1.

Feel free to submit, for re-nomination, any nominations made at a previous date.
