Prayer Walk – Saturday, May 31 at 8:30 a.m.
All are invited to join the group for a walk around the Birmingham-Southern campus, pausing to pray at each venue to be used during our time at Annual Conference.
This year, all members of Annual Conference will pick up their nametag from the Registration Team at Annual Conference. You will need your nametag to participate in the business of Annual Conference. Look for the Express Registration Tents outside of Bill Battle Coliseum on Sunday afternoon!
Picking up your nametag is all you have to do to officially register your attendance at Annual Conference. (There are no attendance tabs to turn in at each session.)
First-Time Member Orientation - Sunday, June 1 at 4:45 p.m
All attending Annual Conference as a first-time member are invited to join conference staff for a brief orientation on Sunday, June 1 at 4:45 p.m. at the Dinner on the Grounds under the large tent on the quad. First-time members will have an opportunity to ask questions regarding your role and responsibilities during this crucial voting year.
Mission Displays - Sunday, June 1 from 4 to 7 p.m.
On Sunday, June 1, Mission Displays will be set up surrounding Dinner on the Grounds at Annual Conference. This will be a chance to learn more about educational and missional opportunities for your local church. Displays will be open from 4-7 p.m. Participants are encouraged to visit the Mission Displays to connect with the ministries happening throughout North Alabama.
Imagine No Malaria Special Offering - Sunday evening
On Sunday evening, June 1, 2014, during the 2014 Annual Conference Opening Celebration worship service, the Imagine No Malaria Special Offering will be received. Local congregations are encouraged to send their contribution to this ministry with their Annual Conference member. The 2013 North Alabama Annual Conference set a goal to save 100,000 lives by raising $1 million for Imagine No Malaria, the United Methodist campaign to help eradicate preventable deaths by malaria in Africa.

There will be signs in Norton Center to direct you to the location of special meals each day.

Pick up your Nametag from the Registration Team when you arrive to Annual Conference. You will need your nametag to participate in the business of Annual Conference.
Annual Conference often includes a summer rain shower, a powerful air conditioner in the Coliseum and lots of walking through campus. It is recommended you bring an umbrella, a sweater or light jacket and comfortable shoes!
