Spring Historical Society meeting to feature Bishop and Conference Lay Leader


The North Alabama Conference Historical Society will convene at Trinity United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 14, 2020. The church is located at 1400 Oxmoor Road in Homewood.

At the meeting, Bishop Deborah Wallace-Padgett will give an overview of her 8 years as the Episcopal leader of our conference. Additionally, Conference Lay Leader Steve Lyles, will present his thoughts on Conference, District. and Local Church Lay Leaders; giving consideration to Conference Lay Leaders of past years. The history of Trinity UMC will also be discussed by a member of the ministerial staff Rev. Bobby Scales. 

Registration will begin at 9 a.m., with the program starting at 9:45 p.m.

There is no charge to attend the program.  But following the meeting, lunch will be served at a cost of $10 for each participant.  It is important that you make reservations for lunch by filling in the registration form and mailing it by Saturday, March 7. This will enable the church kitchen staff to know the number of people to expect.
