In a video message on April 15, 2020, Bishop Debra Wallace-Padgett announced arrangements are currently underway to postpone the 2020 Annual Conference originally scheduled for May 31-June 2. This postponement is due to safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bishop Wallace-Padgett said, “The Annual Conference Planning Team and Conference Leadership Team are working with the appropriate entities to postpone Annual Conference to a time when we anticipate that it will be safe for large gatherings. You will hear more about that in the very near future when all of the contracts and logistics are finalized.”
The tentative dates of the 2020 Annual Conference session are now Sunday, August 16 through Monday, August 17 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville.
A detailed announcement about the 2020 North Alabama Annual Conference will be posted on the Conference website soon.
