2014 Charge Conference Forms now open
The 2014 North Alabama Conference Charge Conference forms are now live.
On Thursday, August 14, 2014, emails with personalized links for each church’s forms were emailed to pastors’ umcna.org email addresses. An email was also sent to the church email address on file with the Conference.
The Charge Conference forms have been revitalized this year leveraging new technology. They have been specifically designed to eliminate technical issues experience by some users in past years.
The forms should be completed on a computer with an up-to-date web browser. Conference Director of Information Technology Pete Banish suggest users download and use Google Chrome to complete the reports. He explains, “Chrome is a free web browser from Google. It upholds industry standards in compliance and technology and has been benchmarked as the best web browser compared to other competitors. Best of all, Chrome works on computers both new and old. Because Chrome is able to run on older computers, it helps extend the life of aging machines which is an advantage to many of our churches.”
Chrome can be downloaded at https://www.google.com/intl/en-US/chrome/browser/.
This year’s set of forms feature one new report, the Local Church Officers form. This report replaces the Local Church Officers portion of the Local Church Dashboard, which was a part of the previous version of the Conference website. This year churches will enter their leaders in a similar manner as past years; they will just use their congregation’s personalized Local Church Leaders form.

- Trustees
- Finance
- Missions
- Ministry Candidates
- Disabilities
- Church Leaders
- Pastor Report
Additional forms to be completed for Charge Conference include the following:
- Pastor Compensation Profile
- District Fund form
Emails to the Senior Pastor and the Church included links to each of the above forms. Additionally, if the church and pastor completed Charge Conference reports last year, links were provided to download those completed forms as a reference.
Each congregation should look for more Charge Conference instructions from their district office.
