The Gathering Place (Cheaha District) has recently expanded with the addition of their third campus located in Odenville, Alabama.

The new campus is meeting in the cafeteria of St. Clair County High School each Sunday. A team of more than one hundred people setup and create a welcoming and exciting atmosphere each and every week.

Those in attendance are welcomed with a fresh and inviting lobby experience including music, coffee, a convenient child check-in station and a hospitality team equipped to assist and answer any questions. The service begins with upbeat and exciting live worship, and then transitions to a video message delivered from the Park Avenue Campus. The goal of the Odenville Campus was to reach a new demographic as well as alleviate capacity issues at the two existing Moody campuses.

With a launch of more than 250 in attendance, this new community of faith is off to a better than expected beginning. The Gathering Place congregation is confident that God will use this new campus to continue its mission "to lead many people into a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ."

A North Alabama Conference new church start, The Gathering Place launched for public worship in January of 2011 and chartered as a United Methodist Church earlier this year.
