The Year-End Local Church Report is collected annually in January. On this report, local churches report their activity from the previous year. These numbers are reported to the General Board on Finance and Administration (GCFA). They also are printed in the North Alabama Conference Journal and are used to formulate apportionments that fund the budget of the North Alabama Annual Conference.
The Year-End Local Church Report is now open for congregations to report ministry information from the life of the church in 2014. All North Alabama Conference local churches must complete this required report by Feb. 5, 2015. Pastors and church treasurers were sent an an email on Jan. 5, 2015, with an attachment containing instructions on completing this online report.

Beginning with this year’s report, local churches are asked to carefully calculate and enter correct dollar amounts for question/line numbers 62a, b, c, d, e, f, g in Table 3. The North Alabama Conference Council on Finance and Administration has formed a task force to study alternate apportioning methods. The appropriate answers to question 62 (all letters) are needed for the study.
For questions related to finance or how to answer a question, call the Conference Treasurer’s office at 205-226-7990 or 800-239-7950 Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Conference Statistician Rev. Amy DeWitte says, “Thank you very much for your attention to this task. Our Conference is counting on each of us to complete this work accurately and in a timely manner.”
