There will be a retreat for all Clergy and their families who will be moving to new appointments in June. The Moving Clergy Retreat will be April 19-21, 2015, at Sumatanga. Below is an overview of this important time designed to help equip clergy and families for their new, spiritual adventure.
Change means God is at work in our lives.
For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. Jeremiah 29:11
God loves us so much he moves us outside of our comfort zone. For it’s here that our greatest potential unfolds. It’s here our gifts are stretched and strengthened. It’s here we experience new glory and wisdom.
God is getting you ready for creative ministry. Using your gifts to lead people toward change and growth. And we are here to help equip you, your spouse and your family for this new, spiritual adventure.
On April 19-21 we will gather at Camp Sumatanga with you and your family. Clergy Spouses, children, and youth are invited to attend on Sunday afternoon. There will be groups both together and separate for spouses, children, and youth. We will all gather back together at the lake at 5:30 for a cookout before the clergy spouses and families depart for home. More details will be sent to you soon.
