Discipleship Ministries invites you to be a part of The United Methodist Church Easter Virtual Choir

Last year Discipleship Ministries created an opportunity for United Methodists worldwide to join in an Easter virtual choir video. The virtual choir brought together people from different countries, congregations, and communities, providing the sense that we are united even in the midst of a pandemic.

This year there is a new opportunity to be a part of a worldwide video for Easter Sunday. Congregations from all around will be able to use this video in their upcoming Easter worship services and post to social media.

This year the choir will sing “Thine Be the Glory” (#308 in The United Methodist Hymnal). To participate, you simply record a video of yourself singing the hymn using the accompaniment track provided. Then upload your video by noon on March 5, 2021. The submissions will be edited together to produce the virtual, mass choir video. 

The final video will be available for everyone to view on Monday, March 22 on the Discipleship Ministries and UMCom websites.
