Ethnic Ministries schedules discussions to promote church growth

August 02, 2016

In an effort to help churches implement strategies to foster church growth, the North Alabama Conference Ethnic Ministries Team has scheduled "Knowing to Grow: Sharing What Works to Grow the Local Church." The event, which will take place in four locations in north Alabama, is designed as conversation involving clergy and laity and focusing on four areas vital to church growth:

  • Evangelism and Outreach
  • Worship
  • Stewardship
  • Children and Youth
"The Ethnic Ministries Team is pleased to present this opportunity for pastors and members to engage in conversation around different aspects of ministry in order to discover, develop and deploy spiritual leaders to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world," said Dr. Clinton Hubbard, leader of the Ethnic Ministries Operational Team. "Please share with your church leaders and make plans to attend the workshop in your area."

These training opportunities will be led by local church leaders on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 9 a.m.-noon.  Listed below are the locations for the conversations.
