EXIT 456 is a retreat offered by the North Alabama Conference designed to aid the local church in ministry to tweens. This retreat features worship,  teaching and fun designed just for 4th, 5th and 6th graders. Some churches choose for this retreat to serve as a retreat for confirmands others choose for it simply as a tween retreat.

This year’s Exit 456 will be at Camp Sumatanga on March 11-12, 2016.  Speakers include Andy Yarnell of Southside United Methodist, Jeff Moore of Helena United Methodist, Liz Bowlin of St. James United Methodist, Lora Parker of Cullman First United Methodist, Mike Arnold of Cullman First United Methodist, Skip Bondour of Revolt Ministries and Conference Next Generation Leadership Facilitator Micah Dormann.

Each church is responsible for providing chaperones for their group. According to the North Alabama Conference policy the ratio of chaperones to students is: 1:7 for this age group. Churches must provide proof of cleared background checks for each adult who attends the retreat. If you need assistance running those background checks, please contact John Fleischauer at john.fleischauer@umcna.org.
