Fair Haven Redevelopment Update

8/15/2016

The redevelopment of Fair Haven Retirement Community is ahead of schedule in Birmingham, anticipating completion of the first phase by December.

The new buildings for Long Term Care, Rehabilitation, and Assisted Living have all three taken full structural shape, and the exterior masonry and stonework is in full swing. These are such impressive additions to Fair Haven’s campus. It is a blessing to be bringing this dream to reality. These new building and their environments will assist Methodist Homes in creating an elevated quality of life for older adults. And once these buildings are completed and occupied, renovations will begin on the inside of the existing structure, bringing many new and exciting additions such as a bistro and an ice cream parlor.

In this month’s update, Christopher Tomlin, President & CEO of Methodist Homes, dedicated his correspondence to a pictorial review of the construction progress. You can see his most current update and his archived updates at http://www.methodisthomes.org/fair-haven-redevelopment-update.html.

Methodist Homes looks forward to continuing to share with you the great work and ministry that is taking place at Fair Haven.  Find out more about Fair Haven at their new website at http://www.fairhavenbirmingham.org or call 205-956-4150.
