1/14/2017

On Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, high school students, college students and young adults up to the age of 30 are invited to learn about short-term and long-term, local and global mission opportunities through the United Methodist Church. The event will be at the UNA Wesley Foundation located at 715 Willingham Road, Florence, Alabama 35630.

The initiative of the General Board of Global Ministries for young adults to engage in mission throughout the United Methodist connection is called Generation Transformation. It includes supporting mission service within The United Methodist Church and Global Ministries’ flagship program for young adults. These Global Ministries programs include:

Therefore, at this critical moment in each person’s life, Generation Transformation provides opportunities for great change and growth.

North Alabama congregations are encouraged to send students and young adults eager to learn more about mission opportunities to this event. Click here to download a flyer to share with your congregation's young people.
