HealthFlex Annual Election is October 31 through November 15, 2018


The 2019 HealthFlex Annual Election period is Wednesday, October 31 through Thursday, November 15, 2018. During this time HealthFlex participants may evaluate their health insurance coverage and make any changes needed for the year 2019.

Go to for information about and comparison of the 2019 plans, as well as, an archive of the October 2018 Health Webinar. This page also includes a link to the ALEX Benefits Counselor. ALEX is an easy and fun way to help participants understand their options and to compare plans, estimate costs, and explore reimbursement accounts.

Annual Election Reminders:

  • Changes made during Annual Election are effective January 1, 2019.
  • Elections do not impact premiums paid by you or the local church. Individual coverage is $740/month, Dependent coverage is $740/month. Total family premium is $1,480/month. CLICK HERE for Billing structure & Premium Credit details. 
  • Elections do impact HRA (Health Reimbursement Account) or HSA (Health Savings Account) contributions. Excess Premium Credit contributions occur monthly.
  • If you elect to personally contribute to your HSA (HDHPs only), make sure you do not exceed the IRS maximum.
  • If you do not log in and make elections, you will remain in your current plans. NOTE: Your 2018 FSA and/or personal HSA elections, if applicable, will not carry over to 2019.

To make their elections, participants must login to their HealthFlex/WebMD account.
