Junaluska Singers to perform in Huntsville as part of the Downtown Patriotic Concert on July 1

UPDATE:  We regret to announce that the Downtown Patriotic Concert has been cancelled due to the unforeseen cancellation of the performers. We thank everyone for their interest in our event, and encourage you to support the concert beneficiaries, Still Serving Veterans, by making a donation that will continue their important work for veterans in our community. Visit stillservingveterans.org or call 256-883-7035.

On July 1, 2016, the Lake Junaluska singers will perform as part of the Downtown Patriotic Concert presented by Benefitting Still Serving Veterans and Trinity United Methodist Church in Huntsville, AL. The concert is free and open to the public.

The performance will be on the steps of the Huntsville Museum of Art at the corner of Church and Williams Streets in downtown Huntsville. Concert-goers are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating on the adjacent lawn in Big Spring Park. They will enjoy an exciting show filled with singing, dancing, classic patriotic tunes and new favorites.

The Lake Junaluska Singers 16-voice ensemble have performed internationally for over 60 years; and feature musical theatre, folk, gospel and classical choral styles.

The Downtown Patriotic Concert kicks off July 4 weekend on the steps of the Huntsville Museum of Art.  All concert donations benefit Still Serving Veterans, winner of the 2015 Small Business Award. With the generous support of the Call of Duty Endowment, this non-profit organization helps transitioning veterans secure meaningful employment and the Veteran benefits they have earned. All services are provided at no charge.
