McCoy Adult Day Care fundraiser to be during Annual Conference on June 4, 2018

On June 4, 2018, North Alabama United Methodists attending Annual Conference will have an opportunity to support a North Alabama Advance Special Ministry by eating dinner prior to the annual Ordination Service.

The Service of Ordination, Commissioning and Licensing will be at Trinity UMC in Huntsville beginning at 7 p.m.  That evening, between 4 and 8 p.m. participants who purchase their dinner at Panera Bread (4800 Whitesburg Dr S, Huntsville, AL 35802) located right across the street from Trinity UMC, can show a flyer and the McCoy Adult Day Care in Birmingham will receive 20% of the pre-tax proceeds of their order. Additionally, using the promo code “FUND” when ordering online for rapid pick-up or delivery will ensure McCoy receives the fundraising portion of that order that evening.

The McCoy Adult Day Care continues to be the premier provider of adult day care services in the Birmingham area in the name of Christ and the United Methodist Church. Celebrating its 33 year of ministry, the McCoy Adult Day Care Center provides a very high quality on-site program of Adult Day Care Services.  This includes supervision, health screening, nutrition, therapeutic activities, exercise and lots of love. Caregivers are provided counseling and support in the care of their loved ones. Periodic classes are offered with information helpful to their situation.  Referral services and help are available when time for placement in a long-term care facility becomes necessary.

To participate in this fundraiser, show a printed or electronic version of this flyer at the time of purchase at the Whitesburg Drive location of Panera Bread in Huntsville. Paper copies of the flyer will be available at the McCoy Adult Day Care mission display at the Von Braun Center during the 2018 North Alabama Annual Conference.

Deaconess Judy Poole, who serves as Executive Director of the McCoy Adult Day Care Center, says, “Thank you in advance for your support of this vital ministry that allows frail and fragile adults and their caregivers have a better quality of life!”
