The United Methodist Higher Education Foundation scholarship application deadline is March 1
The United Methodist Higher Education Foundation (UMHEF) will accept scholarship applications for the 2022-23 academic year through March 1, 2022.
Students who are members of The United Methodist Church and planning to attend a United Methodist-related school, college, university, or seminary full-time are eligible to apply.
UMHEF awards more than $2 million in financial aid annually. To learn about UMHEF scholarship programs, eligibility requirements, and how to apply, visit https://umhef.org/apply. Scholarship Programs include the following:
- United Methodist Dollars for Scholars Program
- General Named Endowed Scholarships
- Special Scholarships
As part of its extensive library of scholarships, select awards are available for ethnically diverse students, including those who plan to attend UM-related HBCUs. New this year are awards designated for UM students who plan to attend the University of Tennessee Southern, formerly Martin Methodist College.
