United Methodist Youth offers your congregation's student ministry FREE resources and October 15 event
Let’s Do A New Thing Together:
United Methodist Youth is a collective of youth workers across North Alabama, whose goal is to continue to unify our churches, students, and youth ministries through networking, resourcing, and worship.
All youth ministries of the UMCNA (students, youth workers, and adult volunteers alike) are invited to join together in a month-long series, and within the month, gather together for one Sunday for fellowship and worship at Birmingham-Southern College.
Our goal is to provide a month’s worth of curriculum (including speaker outlines, small group curriculum, graphics, and games) to any church that wishes to participate, and within the month, a one-night gathering that is open to all students, youth ministries, workers, and volunteers in the North Alabama Conference of the UMC, ALL AT NO COST.
This school year, the months selected for UNITED are October 2023 and April 2024, with our gathering days being Sunday, October 15 from 5-7 p.m. and Sunday, April 21, 2024 (time TBD). Further details are below and on the website!
In October, our theme and series will focus on Mental Health, both in practical resourcing for youth, and youth workers, throughout the entire month.
April 2024 will be focused on Christianity 101, learning and re-learning the foundations of our faith.
